History of the LizardKing family
|
Hi I'm The LizardKing, or more commonly known as Scott. I live in just north of Montgomery Alabama. In 1979 I joined the US Air Force. I spent 6 years in the military, leaving in 1985. During that time I was stationed at Lackland AFB TX, Ft. Meade MD, Ft Harrison IN, Chanute AFB IL, Eglin AFB FL, and finally in Schwaebisch Hall Germany. I married my wife Paula, in 1982, while stationed at Eglin. Shortly afterwards we departed for Germany. In January 1985 our son Nigel was born. After leaving the Air Force, We returned to Montgomery. I worked for Litton von Gal Palletizers from 1985 until 1995. During that time, July 1987, our second child Nikki was born. In 1995 I quit von Gal to join my dad in the used car business, which is what I do now. Here is a photo of our kids. Nigel is 14 and plays guitar. Nikki is 11and an honor roll student at her school. Nigel is into bands such as Korn and Limp Bizkit. Nikki perfers Backstreet Boys, NSYNC and Brittney Spears.

The LizardKing himself

As I stated above, I'm now self-employeed and working at my dad and myself's car lot. It's not a fancy high dollar lot. It's catered towards low income families with bad credit that can't get a car elsewhere. I'm proud of my lot, and try to sell the best cars I can. I know what some of you maybe thinking. I take advantage of the under priviledged. NOT TRUE! I provide a product that they need, and no one else is willing to provide to them. I finance here myself, and in 99% of the cases my interest rates are lower than the banks offer. I'm not here to rip people off (Especially those who can't afford it) I'm here to help myself, while helping others. I have a high repeat business ratio, and many clients bring their friends and family here because of our reputation for dependable cars, and low prices and finance rates. (I'm NOT bragging, I'm proud of it, as I said!) I enjoy old cars, loud music good friends and of course a cold beer never hurts either *WINK* I know I don't have a pic of my wife Paula posted yet. I will as soon as I get her approval on one. (Yeah, That Could Happen) This is a picture of me in Gulf Shores a few months back. I've since shaved and lost the tropical wear!
